Gowri is one of the very few executive coaches globally and 5th in India to have been awarded Master Coach credentials of both ICF-MCC and EMCC-MP, in under 5 years of starting as a coach. She is a registered Mentor, specializing in mentoring MCC aspirants, partners as a certified coaching supervisor for other coaches and is a certified MCC Assessor at ICF.

Gowri embarked on her coaching journey in June 2017, eventually becoming a part of the International Coaching Federation (ICF) in 2019. She served as a Board Director of the ICF Global Credentials & Standards Board from 2021-22, previously holding the position of Director-Outreach at the ICF Bangalore Chapter Board from 2019-2020. In 2023, she stepped down from the board after significant contributions to various projects like developing the new credentialing paths, new competency exam for the coaches and developing the strategic plan for ICF itself. She continues to volunteer at ICF, contributing to its growth in India and globally, and critical professional areas like developing Coaching Supervision competency framework and a coaching body of knowledge.
